25th Annual National Night Out

"National Night Out", August 5th, 2008 at the Colonial Mall in Staunton was a great success !  The Academy secured tables and had various Academy materials displayed for the public. All primary Staff members were present to support the endeavor. Vince Harlow, our Basic Law Enforcement Training Supervisor, donned the "Red Man" suit and allowed the younger generations that came by, an opportunity to strike him with batons to see how we train recruits.  In addition, we had several recruits from the current 116th BLE class present to answer any questions that citizens may have had about true experiences within the Academy setting.  The Academy is pleased to be a nationally registered participant of National Night Out.  ( 8-12-08 )
